New Chandelier Earrings!

I Just finished these amazing Chandelier Earrings and thought they should be shown off immediately!

These will be added to my 3N Collection of Chandelier Earrings.

The 3 N stands for No Necklace Needed.

If you go with a big earring you wouldn't necessarily need a necklace, just add a great bracelet or two and you are ready to go! Beautiful!

A Little Something Special for Your Hair!

New Flower & Feather designs for
the brides hair.
Putting a little twist on a couple of these pieces was a lot of fun.

Something old* A Vintage Brooch in the center is a great unique touch.

Something Blue* Adding a baby blue freshwater
pearl in the center, very subtle.

I also made one of these very small...for a bride that just wants a hint of this fun & flirty look!
Any flowergirl would love this too!

Custom designing each piece I am able to accommodate each bride with her personal style, shape, color or any other creative ideas she would like to incorporate into her flower.

So Happy Together!

I wanted to share this photo that my bride Nicole sent to me! What a great looking couple they are & Nicole is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside!

She wore my favorite combination of jewelry...An amazing pair of chandelier earrings as well as a big beautiful bracelet to match. Both pieces complimented her gorgeous wedding gown which she found at Destiny's Bride.

The 2nd photo here is the envelope her photo arrived in, I LOvE this! Look at the stamp, a picture of them right on the stamp!
Very creative Nicole!

Pure. Eco Friendly Wedding Gowns

This Beautiful wedding gown is from the new Eco Friendly line called Pure, from Justin Alexander. You can find it exclusively @ Suzannes Bridal Boutique

We were doing a promotional photo shoot and I wanted to design a pair of earrings that would match the theme & style of the gown. I chose to use a wooden carved bead as well as the Mother of Pearl petals at the bottom. Love this look for the gown!

We decided the Flower feather hair peice was the perfect last touch to get the photo just right!

Thank-you for a great shot!

Careful Where You Put Your Flowers!

A quick Fun Fact I came across today and wanted to share, I didn't know this.
In Hawaii, pinning a flower behind your left ear indicates you are taken!

So, even if your not getting married in Hawaii be sure to pass this information on to your single bridesmaids! Right.

Le' ale 'a..it means "Pleasure" in Hawaii

It was truly a pleasure "Le' ale 'a" to meet Michelle, she called me looking for some amazing layers of pearls... for a "pre" wedding photo shoot!
I was in Reno visiting my sister when I got her call and just happened to be in an antique store and was happy to find some great old vintage pearls that were all different shapes and sizes..perfect for what Michelle wanted!

When I returned to Arizona I meet with her to drop the pearls off and it was then that Michelle showed me a picture of the necklace she wanted to have made for her Wedding Day! As you can see in the picture I was able to design layers of freshwater pearls just exactly the way she wanted...and I was thrilled to do it!!

When Michelle sent me her wedding photo's I knew I had to have a few for my website so I e-mail Kym Ventola from Ventola Photography. What a Rock Star she is..I had this photo as well as 2 others AND a pleasant little note in about an hour, that is my kind of vendor! Thank-you very much Kym, I really appreciate it very much.
Looking through Jim & Michelle's wedding photo's it was so easy to see how in love they are and how happy they make each other. I know they will cherish their amazing photo's for a lifetime!
Have a wonderful time in Hawaii Michelle & Jim!
Aloha.

A successful Trunk Show with a touch of Vintage Glam!

I was at a Brides by Demetrios Trunk Show this week-end with all of my jewelry on display, it was a great success! I meet many new Brides and made some new friends.
I had the pleasure to meet Melanie, a make-up artist. Her work is amazing. She has a beautiful portfolio as well as I sat in her chair and she actually did a bit of a make over on me! The name of her company is M is for Make-up. Check her out!
I also had quite a few Brides interested in my vintage brooches! They make for a great accent to any wedding gown. I collect all of my brooches from antique stores when ever I go out of town. The newest ones are from Reno, Nv. Shopping for brooches is my kind of work!

Vendor Spotlight - Custom Jewelry by Lani
I thought that I would share one of my most recent experiences with a very fabulous custom jewelry designer, Lani McEvers, owner of Custom Jewelry by Lani. Lani found her passion when she started beading back in April of 2000 and has been creating custom jewelry ever since. She uses the finest materials, with Swarovski Austrian Crystals being the cornerstone of her designs adding a rainbow of color with faceted gemstones, pearls or other unique materials. Now besides all that, this is why Lani is in the spotlight, one of my brides recently told me that she absolutely hated the earrings that she had chosen from an upscale department store. Now this was only 4 days before her wedding, so in an attempt to reassure her that her selection was in fact just fine, I asked to see the earrings along with her gown. I have to admit, it was not at all a flattering match up.So, the following day I went in search of earrings for her, remember this is now only 3 days before her wedding and finding something in stock might not be a possibility, but the first place I checked was Brides by Demetrios in Scottsdale, where I knew that Lani had some items displayed. I walked in, asked the ladies where Lani's display was set, they informed me that there were only a couple of chandelier earrings available, but I asked to see them anyway. Sure enough there was the set that I thought would go perfectly with her gown. I quickly snapped a photo, with permission of course, remember when you are dealing with anything custom whether it be a gown, jewelry, floral, whatever, you want to make sure that you have permission, anyway, I snapped the photo, called my bride but unfortunately she was unavailable. Not knowing whether she would like them or not I left the bridal salon and e-mailed her the photo. She absolutely loved the earrings and wanted to know if we could put a hold on them. It was rather late in the evening, so I e-mailed Lani and she responded immediately, told me that she would call the salon in the morning and have them put on hold for my bride. When I called the next morning to Brides by Demetrios, I explained who I was and the nature of my call, I was asked to hold on for a moment and when someone came back on the line, it was none other than Lani herself. She made a point to make a special trip into the salon first thing in the morning, pack up the earrings in pretty wrapping and put a card personally addressed to my bride. WOW, talk about customer service!!!So needless to say, my bride was ecstatic, she must have told me at least 3 times on her wedding day, how happy she was with the earrings, how perfect they were with her gown and how happy she was that we were able to get her something she loved on such short notice. Thanks Lani, you are the best!!!All the best & 'til next time,

Spotlight on Weddings!

A wonderful start to a New Year! Let's do some T.V!

I have to admit there is a certain Thrill you get when you go to the stations do do these "spots" The amount of work & time that goes into a 1 min. "spot" is just crazy when you think about how fast it is over, but I LOVE to go to the station! At least it is my Custom Wedding Jewelry on camera and NOT me..I would FREEZE like a snowcone!
I take my daughter with me when I can, of course for her she like the part where we go out to Breakfast afterwards the best. Go figure! :)
